Western State cross country and track team member Alisha Williams is among the finalists for NCAA woman of the year.
The 10 finalists were selected from 355 nominees by the NCAA Committee on Women’s Athletics. The winner will be announced Oct. 29 during an awards dinner in Indianapolis.
The other finalists are Michelle Reeser, Alabama, gymnastics; Jennifer Skolaski, Iowa, swimming; Deirdre Dlugonski, Penn State, swimming; Lauryn McCalley, Tennessee, swimming; Leah Geib, Delaware, field hockey; Melissa Lehman, Barry, volleyball; Richelle Simpson, Nebraska, gymnastics; Janiva Willis, Winthrop, softball; and Lindsay Hagerman, Washington and Lee, tennis.

The Nuggets are accepting résumés and tapes for the team’s in-game public address announcer.
