As the North American leader in wetlands conservation, Ducks Unlimited raises millions of dollars each year for projects that benefit ducks, geese and many other species of wildlife.
In Colorado, more than 115,000 wetland acres have been protected through DU projects with an expenditure of some $14 million. The organization’s largest fundraiser, the Downtown Denver banquet, is scheduled for Sept. 29 at the Denver Athletic Club, 1325 Glenarm Place. Auction items include a Labrador retriever puppy.
