Hundreds of volunteers will gather streamside Saturday to participate in the second annual Trout Unlimited statewide river cleanup.

The project will remove trash from 15 designated river stretches at various locations.

“Water is one of Colorado’s most valuable and precious natural resources and, as we’ve seen in recent years, its supply is far from guaranteed,” said Sharon Lance, president of Colorado Trout Unlimited. “Through the cleanup, everyone can get involved and make a great impact.”

The 2005 cleanup will visit the following rivers, with contact information for those who wish to join the effort:
