Carson, Calif. – Jean Philippe Peguero, Jovan Kirovski and David Ben-Dayan scored goals to help the Colorado Rapids clinch a playoff spot with a 3-1 victory over Chivas USA on Saturday night.

Colorado’s fourth victory in six games allowed the Rapids (11-13-4) to secure a playoff spot for the fourth consecutive season.

Arturo Torres scored for Chivas USA (3-21-5).

The first-year team has lost four straight and is winless in 10 consecutive games.
