Colorado State University announced a $2.5 million gift to the College of Business – the college’s largest donation – from the Everitt family and Everitt Cos. The university honored the family and business in a ceremony dedicating the Everitt Real Estate Center in the College of Business.
MapQuest Inc. of Denver and TomTom Inc., an Amsterdam, Netherlands-based provider of personal navigation products and services, announced the launch of the MapQuest Personal Navigation Device. The device combines GPS technology with preloaded maps to deliver accurate, voice-guided directions in a portable device.

QualMark Corp. of Denver announced a multi-unit sale of its midsized Typhoon Chambers to Airbus’ largest commercial avionics supplier. The chambers were purchased to support additional testing on electronic components of the new A380 Airbus.

Tendril, a Lafayette-based software provider of wireless sensor and control networks, announced Tuesday a strategic agreement with In-Q-Tel, a not-for-profit company established by the Central Intelligence Agency. In-Q-Tel will purchase software licenses and make an investment in Tendril.
Duffy Crane and Hauling Inc., founded in 1886, has been sold to a Denver investor group led by Jeffrey L. Cummings. The purchase price wasn’t disclosed.
