Drinking. Liberally.
Somehow, liberal politics and drinking go hand in hand, and thankfully, someone started a club.
As an informal, inclusive Democratic drinking club, Drinking Liberally boasts their toast to left-leaning Democrats, and provides a forum for safe, free thinking.
Oh. And drinking. Promoting democracy one pint at a time.

But spell-check isn’t at the top of their list.
Comedy Works presents a night of komedy this evening for the benefit of others.
Komics Kare brings regular local funny bunnies like Steve Gastineau (no relation to Brittney. …Sorry.) and Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald (moustache and all!) on stage to lighten the spirits of those afflicted by such dark times.
All proceeds will be sent with a smile to charity.

Where: Comedy Works, 1226 15th Street, 7:30 p.m.
Cost: $15

How long does it take to make a documentary on the wonders of the human body to be displayed on a screen that’s about three stories tall?
‘Bout three years.
The Denver Museum of Nature and Science IMAX theater is now showing “The Human Body,” a presentation that follows a family from dawn to dusk, and tracks the inner workings of their insides, and the small but substantial cataclysmic goings-on that all of our bodies process every day, without us knowing, so we can go about spending our time worrying about things like if Sienna’s going to take Jude Law back.
Don’t do it Sienna. Once a cheater, always a cheater.
What: The Human Body at IMAX
Where: 2001 Colorado Boulevard, check for showtimes
