Love, shmuv… who needs it!?
Sour grapes? Well, not from me — but then again, I’m not a Gemini.
You’ll be facing difficulties when it comes love and romance, especially from the standpoint that you’ll be dealing with difficult people throughout the week. The troubles will evolve because these folks are stuck in their ways and you have a tendency to be eclectic and ready for change on the spur of the moment.
If you can be certain that you’re dealing with people who have a light energy, one that really works with you, then by all means play.
Getting involved with someone who’s much too stodgy for your energies will make your life about as pleasant as an ice-cold vinegar spritzer.
Adding to your problem is the possibility that you’ll fall head over heels for someone who’s about as flexible as a cement contortionist.
If they can’t have fun, stay away from them.
Another word of warning, keep your eyes open for the puppet-master relationship. As long as you’re pulling the strings, it should pose no problem. Just be certain that they aren’t pulling the strings to make you think that you’re actually pulling the strings when in fact… well you get the point.

You need to play this week if you want to have any success when it comes to romance.
If you’ve been feeling sorry for yourself over the past few weeks, months, years or even lifetimes when it comes to romance, this is a week to alleviate many of your problems.
In order to maximize your ability to have fun you’ll need to be as available as possible.
Be willing to indulge in adult versions of such games as: hide and seek, 20 questions, hopscotch (single malt only, please), tag and of course, kick the can. (For those of you making too many assumptions of my meaning here, please see my note to Tauruses above.)
Keeping a light and irreverent atmosphere around love will help you find people who are willing and anxious to play all sorts of interesting games.
If you happen to be someone who enjoys intellectual conundrums and puzzles, make haste to your local Tiled Order of Scrabble Enthusiasts, in order to meet someone who might be fun to exchange words with.
The Southwest side of town is a great place to be when it comes to the right playground. You may also find that Lonetree and Castle Rock have much to offer.

This week, it’s going to be hard to do it all by yourself. (Now, now, that’s not what I meant.)
This would be a great time to get advice from someone when it comes to love and romance. Hopefully, this is someone who’s earned your respect, or at least your confidence, when it comes to affairs of the heart.
When it comes to dating, it’s important that you maintain a bit of miserliness about you. You don’t want to be so cheap that they name a meatless sandwich after you at your local deli, but you don’t want to overdo it either.
Shows of opulence at this time will be seen as arrogance and pretense.
Speaking of arrogant, pretentious types, you’ll meet someone as the week progresses, if you expose yourself enough to the public, who reeks of self-importance. Should you decide to become involved with this person, stay away from any sort of long-term commitment. This will be about the moment and not about the future.

If you happen to be currently involved in a relationship, be aware that your partner, or that special someone, may have a real need for your attention this week.
Don’t neglect the more romantic side of love when it comes to dealing with others. This is especially true if you’re married, committed or simply going together, in whatever sense that manifests. Being neglectful at this time will lead to certain troubles as the week progresses with the possibility of a huge argument coming over the weekend.
This energy will also manifest, even if you don’t happen to be in a relationship at the current time.
Deal with this by being attentive and caring of other people’s needs. When you meet someone, don’t immediately reach for the personal lubricant, sizing them up as a conquest.
Instead, consider how you might best get to know them, connecting with them on a deeper level. This could lead to a more intimate connection.
All right, I’m being a bit facetious about the lubricant, but it’s more important for you to be congenial than it is to be anything else when it comes to romance this week.

This is also a good time to visit as many different places as possible, in order to be seen. Depending upon your age, make the venue appropriate.
Don’t be surprised if you are mistaken for someone else as the week progresses. This may or may not work to your advantage, depending upon who they think you resemble.
You can use this bit of fantasy identity to your advantage, unless of course you’re told you look exactly like Popeye. (Please, no letters, I’m a huge Popeye fan but must admit I never understood his interest in Olive Oyl. Betty or Veronica I understood.)
If you’ve been wanting to meet someone who could truly understand you as your are and see the benefits within, it can happen. Being optimistic is important and also being willing to enjoy yourself without putting on airs is a must.

Sitting and watching the clouds drift by, seeing shapes of hearts, flowers, and perhaps even human anatomy in their puffy, voluptuous contours, won’t do you any good. This week you need to be as realistic as possible when it comes to romance.
Although a good fantasy is enjoyed by many, this week it’ll absolutely drag you down into a swirling pit of illusion. You need to be as realistic as possible when dealing with love and that means being conscious and aware of how you appear and how others view you.
If you’re seen as flighty, you’ll draw people to you who’ll only become a pain in the heart as time goes on. Present yourself as stable and down to earth and you stand a much better chance of meeting the right types of people.
By the way, you don’t have to actually be stable and down to earth in order to appear that way. Just don’t allow yourself to be a daydreamer when you should be looking at reality.
Obviously, this advice has something to do with the types of people you’ll be meeting.
They may have hidden agendas, or they may be the types who simply can’t stand someone who lives in a world of delusional fancy. Whatever the case, be realistic and refrain from discussing your theories regarding government involvement in fluoridation, immigration or constipation.

Love could be a bit of a chore, but if you work at a properly, it’ll be a labor of love.
The harder you work at finding romance and meeting others, the bigger your payoff will be. This is the right time to engage in a full force campaign in finding the right person to spend some time with.
Even if you’re only looking for some temporary companionship, you need to begin the process immediately and look everywhere you can think of.
You might be surprised to find that the right person is right around the corner, or that they come to you through an unexpected source. Don’t be surprised if that cable installer is just what the love-doctor ordered.
Obviously, common sense needs to be employed at all times, but the key to finding the right people is to stay alert and to work at it.
You’ll probably meet someone who challenges your world view a bit. They may be the one but they don’t necessarily have to be. I never said it was going to be easy.

When it comes to your love life, the time has come to implement change.
This doesn’t necessarily mean ending an old relationship or trading it in for a new one. It does mean that change must come in the form of evolution and a different way of looking at things.
If you happen to be in a committed relationship and you’ve been feeling stagnant lately, rejoice in the fact that this week’s energies are urging you to make the types of changes you’ve been wanting to make. This could mean a closer intimacy, or it might even be a new way of communicating with that special someone.
Of course, there’s the chance that it may mean moving on to something new. If the relationship’s been long overdue for dissolution, this week could mark the beginning of that process.
If you don’t happen to be connected yet, look for some sort of a new prospect. This means changing your paradigm when it comes to love or what to expect. Going with the same old same old, simply won’t cut it.
