From his house that overlooks State Highway 74, opposite the trailhead to Lair-o-the-Bear Park in Jefferson County, William Stanton of Genesee photographed a Flight-For-Life helicopter rescue of an injured hiker. Traffic was stopped in both directions as the helicopter landed in the middle of the highway.
