Colorado senior tennis player Jessica Vanderdys won her quarterfinal match, but lost to BYU’s Olga Boulytcheva in the semifinals, 6-3, 6-4, at the Wilson ITA Central Region Championships in Salt Lake City. Monica Milevski of Colorado defeated Colorado State’s Anne Anderson 7-5, 6-3.
Colorado stops Sooners
The Colorado women’s volleyball team beat Oklahoma 30-24, 30-28, 30-25 in Boulder. The Buffs improved to 9-7 overall, 5-6 in the Big 12.
Orediggers take final bow
The Colorado School of Mines women’s soccer team ended its first season with a 2-0 win over Johnson and Wales at Brooks Field. The win ended Mines’ season at 7-8 overall.
Colorado College wins with rally
After trailing by two goals, Colorado College rallied to beat Augustana College 3-2 in men’s soccer in Colorado Springs.
