Author Bruce Plasket’s book on the Colorado recruiting scandal: “Buffaloed: How Race, Gender and Media Bias Fueled a Season of Scandal” was officially released Thursday in limited numbers.
To get the book out, Plasket self-published it through his company, Buffaloed Books, and is handling all the marketing and distribution, as well as setting up a website.
“Every dime I have is invested in this,” he said.
The book can be purchased at the CU Book Store on the Hill in Boulder and at the Tattered Cover in lower downtown Denver. By the end of the weekend, Plasket said it also will be available through his website, BuffaloedBooks.com, which is not yet up and operating, and on Amazon.com. Plasket said many bookstores have been reluctant to carry the book.
