An index of Colorado stocks rose for the first week in four, led by Ball Corp., Whiting Petroleum Corp., and Titanium Metals Corp.

The Bloomberg Colorado Index, a price-weighted list of companies based in the state, rose 3.77, or 1.3 percent, to 298.12.

About six stocks climbed for every five that fell last week, while two were unchanged.
