My favorite subject is: Mathematics

My favorite athlete is: Perry Allen, a former running back at Idalia. I really looked up to him.

My favorite team is: The Broncos. I was raised loving them.

What I listen to: Hip-hop and up-to-date rock.

The best thing on my training table is: My mom’s scrambled eggs.

Pregame ritual: I’m pretty superstitious. During football, I put on every piece of clothing the same, get my ankles taped at certain times.

Time management tip: I like to write things down and get them done before time. It takes the weight off your shoulders.

Planned career: Lawyer, or something with graphics and websites.

My family: Parents Joye and Greg; brothers Tim, Philip and Chris; sister Kelli.

I would love to visit: Hawaii or Florida to see the ocean.

What I like most about high school sports: That I can play four sports. In college, it will be hard to play anything.

What I like least about high school sports: I can’t think of any downside of high school sports. It’s all fun.

The Denver Post recognizes a female and male student-athlete of the week. At the end of the school year, 10 finalists will be chosen. Ultimately, The Post and The Denver Athletic Club will select one boy and one girl as student-athletes of the year, and a substantial donation will be made to a local charity in their names.
