Kiszla hits mark on Nalen
A good read today, Mr. Kiszla. Unsung hero and all that. Your point is valid: Denver keeps sending runners to 1,000-plus yards, and no one (in the rest of the media) can figure out why. Or if they can, they choose not to write about it.
In an era where quarterbacks, cover corners, star running tandems and world-class receivers get all the acclaim, it’s nice to read a column such as yours.
Problem is, I doubt Tom Nalen or Gary Zimmerman will read it: Not their style, is it?
John K. Moore, Westminster
Terrell: sounds like peril
Great hands, moves, speed and strength
Owns Owens 81.
Not long ago, the living end
For now, at least, he’s done.
He dissed the Eagles to the press
Especially QB McNabb.
He claimed he’d rather catch from Brett
And with Douglas traded jabs.
Of course others are the ones to blame.
Loud Rosenhaus drew it clearly.
But why try to clear your soiled name
Saying sorry insincerely?
Now with T.O. out there on the street
Begging teams to buy,
Let’s hope the Broncos are discreet
And let that Eagle fly.
