Out and about: This crew sailed the 39 foot boat to several islands in the BVI chain, including Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Norman Island, Josh Van Dyke, and St. John’s, U.S. Virgin Islands. During their 10 days afloat the crew experienced the full moon and eclipse on October 27th while attending the Full Moon party at Bomba’s on the north shore of Tortola.
Travel tips: Incredible snorkeling is a must at the Baths off Virgin Gorda, the Cave’s off Norman Island and several other spots. Snorkeling and scuba diving are major attractions in BVI. The weather in BVI is always mild, 85 in the day, 75 at night. BVI is a sailors paradise with the average wind between 10 and 15 knots.
