The six remaining contestants must produce and perform a song. Luckily it’s for satellite radio and the only people who will hear it are long-distance truckers and the five people in rental cars who made it through the instruction book. NBC
8 p.m. “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”
The team suspects a police officer was killed by a fellow officer. They become suspicious when the offending officer puts in for overtime the night of the killing. CBS
8:30 p.m. “Hollywood Snappers”
This new reality series looks inside the life of paparazzi, the bottom-dwelling photographers who lurk in the shadows to capture images of celebrities. We get enough of this during “Shark Week.” VH1
9 p.m. “Smart House”
A young boy programs a computerized house to act as his surrogate mother. Everything works out well until the house starts nagging him about his homework and embarrassing him in front of his friends with its ugly shag carpeting and cheap aluminum siding. (1999) Disney Channel
