DUCKS

Central Flyway

Regular season: Through Dec. 4, Dec. 11-Jan. 22. No pintails or canvasbacks may be taken after today. Bag limit: Six ducks, no more than five mallards, of which no more than two can be females; one pintail; one canvasback; two redheads; one mottled duck; two wood ducks; two scaup. Also, five mergansers, of which no more than one may be hooded; 15 coots.

Pacific Flyway

Regular season: Through Jan. 29. No pintails and canvasbacks may be hunted after Dec. 15. Bag limit: Seven ducks and mergansers, of which no more than two may be female mallards, one pintail, one canvasback, two redheads, three scaup. Also: 25 coots.

GEESE

Central Flyway

Regular season: Through Feb. 12.

Pueblo County: Dec. 3-Feb. 12. Bag limit: Three dark geese, 20 light geese.

Light goose season: Through Feb. 12. Daily bag limit 20, no possession limit. Also, special conservation order season Feb. 18-April 30 east of Interstate 25.

Pacific Flyway

Regular season: Through Jan. 29

Bag limit: Three geese in aggregate.

UPLAND BIRDS

Chukar: Through Nov. 27. Bag 4/12.

Pheasant: Through Jan. 16 east of I-25. Through Jan. 2 west of I-25. Bag 3/9.

Quail: Through Jan. 2 in northeast Colorado. Through Jan. 16 in southeast Colorado. Through Jan. 2 in western Colorado. Bag 8/24 of each species.

Sandhill crane: Through Nov. 30 east of Continental Divide, except North Park and San Luis Valley. Bag 3/6.

Snipe: Through Dec. 16. Bag 8/16.

SMALL GAME ANIMALS

Abert’s squirrel: Through Jan. 15. Bag 2/4.

Rabbit and hare: Through Feb. 28: Bag 10/20 of each.

Fox and pine squirrel: Through Feb. 28. Bag 5/10.

BIG GAME

Bear: Rifle concurrent with deer and elk seasons.

Deer: West of I-25 – Regular rifle seasons, through today. East of I-25 – Archery through Nov. 30, Dec. 15-31. Regular rifle Dec. 1-14.

Elk: Regular rifle seasons through today.

Mountain lion: Through March 31.
