DU men’s hoops team signs two JC players
The University of Denver men’s basketball team got a guard and a forward for next season after Chris Timms of Marshalltown (Iowa) Community College and Mykhael Lattimore of Casper College signed scholarship offers Wednesday. Timms, a 6-foot-9 forward from England, averaged 5.2 points and 2.9 rebounds last season. Lattimore, a 6-5 guard from Morristown, N.J., returns to Casper College this season after a medical hardship.
Colorado volleyball can’t stop Huskers
Nebraska remained undefeated (28-0, 19-0 Big 12) with a 3-0 sweep of visiting Colorado (14-11, 10-10).
