Feast on the sights at the Denver Zoo

10 A.M.-5 P.M. | Work up an appetite for your Thanksgiving feast by strolling along the sidewalks and paths of the Denver Zoo, 2300 Steele St. You can see the more than 4,000 residents who call the zoo home. Admission is $9 for ages 12-64, $7 for ages 65 and over, $5 ages 3-11, and free for those under age 3. Advance discounted tickets for the annual “Zoo Lights,” opening Dec. 9 and continuing through Jan. 1, are available online. Call 303-376-4800 or visit denverzoo.org. The first free day of the new year is Jan. 16.

“Beauty & the Beast” includes a Thanksgiving menu

NOON | GREENWOOD VILLAGE Celebrate Thanksgiving at the Country Dinner Playhouse with a matinee performance of the Disney musical “Beauty & the Beast” at 6875 S. Clinton St. Denver Post theater critic John Moore awarded the production 3 1/2 stars. The buffet features a traditional Thanksgiving menu. Doors open at noon, and the show begins at 1:45 p.m. The show continues through Jan. 22. Tickets are $38-$44.
