This week, it would be best to leave the loving to somebody else.
I hate to be the bearer of ill tidings, but the world of romance and relationships isn’t going to be a hunk of Halvah. Before you become depressed and angry, read on.
It’ll be wonderful for making new connections, meeting interesting people and attempting to enlarge your circle of friends.
Of course, this column deals with romance, so it’s safe for you to infer that someone you meet could become more than a friend as things evolve.
Do not, and I repeat, do not try to push things any further than they seem to naturally want to go. You need to maintain a platonic level of friendship without forcing someone into more than they want–for now.
Keep in mind that there could be an opportunity for you to engage in some lighthearted frolicking as the week comes to an end. If intoxicants are in play, think twice before going forward.

May 21 to June 20
This could be one of the best weeks you’ve had in a long time when it comes to love.
Almost everywhere you turn, there could be someone just waiting to pounce upon you in a playful attempt to get your attention. Yes, your energies are strong and your charisma as high as it can get. (Should you meet someone in a Tigger shirt, you’ll know how to proceed.)
All you’ll have to do to prove this for yourself is to go out once or twice. You’ll see the effect you have on other people.
You should also find that this is an excellent time to meet new people through the Internet or a dating service.
If someone wants to set you up on a blind date, put them off, at least for this week. You’ll be better off sticking to your own explorations when it comes to love and romance. This doesn’t mean that you can’t entertain the thought at a later time, but for now be the bearer of your own proverbial torch.
You may find that you’re tempted to re-engage with someone who was a fun, fleshy partner in the past. Although there’s nothing wrong with this, it may keep you from meeting the person that you should be with.
All in all, this is a great week to engage in love and romance and there isn’t a single day of the week that stands out as better than any other.

If someone’s been on your mind lately, give them a call, e-mail or knock on the door.
This is an excellent time to connect with someone and to have their interest in you increase. Of course, common sense is a necessity and you shouldn’t allow yourself to be perceived as creepy or having a stalker mentality. (Although you may actually have one, try not to show it at this time.)
You might also consider asking someone to give you a hand when it comes to finding that right person. Perhaps an intermediary, or someone to present your point of view will help the cause.
By the way, stay away from dealing with the friends of siblings, as this could get messy quickly and have strange repercussions as time goes on.
One of the best places to meet someone interesting could be at one of the many overcrowded shopping malls in the Denver Metro area. Keep your eyes wide open as you suck on that $6 cup of coffee and munch on that gooey cinnamon roll. You might just see someone who’s wondering how to get closer to you in order to lick the icing off of your fingers.

This week, it won’t be easy to make the types of love connections you’d like.
Of course, you’re saying it’s never easy and, although that may be the case, this week has its challenges above and beyond what you may be used to.
That was the bad news and now that you’re depressed, the good news can be delivered. Although it won’t be easy, it should be fruitful.
In order for this dynamic to take hold in your life, you’ll need to make yourself as available as possible to those whose interests you seek to gather.
This may mean going out with friends or socializing with those that you may not necessarily know well.
Take advantage of this energy in order to meet brand new people, but don’t expect them to immediately invite you into their boudoir. Instead, be willing to push a little harder by getting to know them and listening to their stories.
Your best day to meet someone who could be advantageous to your love life will be Friday, with the weekend following closely behind.

Say what’s on your mind if you expect to get anywhere with romance.
Remaining silent isn’t going to help you when it comes to getting closer to a romantic connection. You need to be vociferous about your desires while not appearing demanding.
An extension of this energy should have you being as social as possible. Let yourself be invited out and if no one does, invite yourself. This is a great time to be in the world and to begin to enjoy the festivities that have already begun. (Jingle all the way!)
If you don’t really feel that festive, pretend you are. Attitude is everything this week.
You’ll either push people away, or draw them in by how you present yourself. Being a sourpuss will get you the same energy back and that’ll not only be annoying, but downright stifling as time goes on.

As you travel the world’s stage, you’ll find that others gaze at you, desire you and may even want to possess you. Well, hopefully not the latter, but do expect to be highly sought after and to have the interest of those around you.
This will be due to an interesting, unusual energy that makes you seem completely and totally wonderful to be involved with.
I’m not implying that you aren’t actually wonderful to be involved with, but this energy will have people seeing you not as you are, but rather as they want you to be.
This can lead to problems over time if you get involved with someone who falls for you during this process, so be certain that you clear up any misconceptions as quickly as possible.
Of course, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with letting people know how incredibly special you are, that you may in fact be superhuman to some extent and are the catch of the century. Just make sure that the bigger misconceptions are cleared up.
Don’t be surprised if people you know well suddenly view you with different eyes.

Although the opportunities are strong for sexual play, don’t expect these opportunities to turn into anything more than a passing fling.
The biggest mistake you can make this week, is attempting to convince yourself that a romantic connection is much more than it really is. You need to be as realistic as possible.
Although this can be a wonderful energy to play with, you’ll be emotionally vulnerable and could find yourself swimming in a sea of self-pity and loathing before the week is through. The only way to keep this from occurring is to remain clear and levelheaded and not allow things to get out of hand.
This doesn’t mean that you can’t indulge, it simply means that you shouldn’t indulge unless you absolutely know what you’re doing. (Do any of us EVER really know what we’re doing? Just do your best.)
Be especially cautious if you meet someone after Wednesday who seems to have everything you’ve been looking for. They may be perfect, but only for right now.

You could find yourself being accused of insensitivity and cold-hearted callousness.

Of course, you may be accused of being redundant, but you can trust me when I say that it beats the alternative.
Be ready for the possibility of a new relationship early in the week. This may take the form of a chance meeting with someone. Of course, this could have huge ramifications as time goes on, so be absolutely certain that you know what you’re doing before you begin this sort of activity.
If you’ve had your eye on someone in the professional world, this is a good week to venture forth cautiously.
If you find that you’re the object of undying veneration, be hesitant unless the person genuinely interests you. If they do, it’s safe to entertain fun thoughts.
Of course, in any situation that involves work and romance, great tact and care are necessary. Even if your company doesn’t forbid it, things have a way of becoming obnoxiously yucky quickly.
If someone does ask you out on a date or for quick cup of coffee, say yes, but make sure that you make that appointment for as late in the week as possible. Any day after Friday will do.
Aquarius
January 20 to February 18
If you want to have luck when it comes to romance, you’ll need to make that luck yourself.
Calm down. I’m not saying that you won’t have luck. What I’m saying is that you’ll have to create it by being open and actively in pursuit of love.
The best place to find such energies will be surrounded by like-minded people. This means finding those who feel the same way you do about love and romance of course, but it also means being around people who share the same types of ideas you do when it comes to the world at large.
If you happen to be a bookworm, find a place where the leaves are turning year-round. The Denver metro area has numerous wonderful bookstores. Go to one of these places, find one of those common areas where people love to lounge around and get fingerprints all over books they’ll never buy, and keep your eyes open.
If you happen to be the sporting type, go to one of the many sports bars in the area. Instead of watching one of the thousands of televisions assailing you, look around to see who’s watching you.

If you’re going to venture into the world of interpersonal relationships, it’s best to keep things on a strictly physical level
Yes, I’m blushing at my own advice here, and as shallow as it may seem, you really need to try to stay away from anything too emotionally charged.
You’re currently much too vulnerable for true love, and you could end in a compromising position that has nothing to do with sex and everything to do with messy connections.
In order to prevent this type of complication, it’s best that you stick to a purely fleshy realm and save the spiritual connection for another time.
Interestingly enough, this is an excellent time to meet all sorts of new people who might become future partners. It would be best not to dally with them if you want to be taken seriously.
As you can see, it’s a bit of a dilemma for you when it comes to love, but the key is to meet people without engaging, and to engage only with those that you don’t really care about living happily ever after with.
Although seemingly difficult, this invitation to be shallow may actually prove enjoyable. Of course, safety is never to be overlooked.
