The 13th annual race series, which draws top skiers and snowboarders from across the planet with the richest cash purse in ski racing, begins a two-day stand in CB with the national open qualifier. Win the qualifier and you’ll be throwing elbows with the world’s top riders on the series’ infamous Y Course, which features individual parallel slalom courses that unite in a single skiercross-type course for the final stretch. Win against the heavy-hitters and you’re in The Game after a mere weekend of racing.
Even if you don’t want to compete, the action is a mixture of X Games and Olympics. Sunday’s Professional Skiing & Snowboarding World Championships will be races to remember.
