“Lunch Box Memories” packs history dating from 1935

10 A.M.-5 P.M. | COLORADO SPRINGS The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum is hosting a Smithsonian Institute Traveling Exhibition, “Lunch Box Memories,” through Jan. 8 at 215 S. Tejon St. The show features 64 metal lunch boxes dating to 1935. The museum is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Admission is free. Call 719-385-5990 or visit cspm.org.

“Aida” carries its tunes to Arvada

7:30 P.M. | ARVADA “Aida,” a musical about forbidden love, opens tonight at the Arvada Center, 6901 Wadsworth Blvd. The show, featuring music by Elton John and lyrics by Tim Rice, continues through Dec. 30. Ravel and Corigliano grace Kantele Ensemble
