Woody Harrelson remains a bartender at heart. The “Cheers” actor helped launch a new German TV network, but admitted he did it only to attend Munich’s famous beer festival last month.
“I gotta admit the main reason I was psyched to go was not out of my big allegiance to Das Vierte, but out of my desire to hit Oktoberfest again after some 10 years,” said Harrelson, who was en route to perform a play on London’s West End, contactmusic.com reported.
Patricia Heaton is enjoying her time away from sitcom TV, and her latest endeavor, “The Engagement Ring,” was fun, if only for the food.
The TNT film, which re-airs at 8 and 10 tonight and 11 a.m. Saturday, involves two generations of California winemakers and a romantic conflict.
“We had the script for quite a while,” Heaton told the Akron (Ohio) Beacon-Journal, noting the Napa Valley setting sealed the deal. “It could be about a serial killer, as long as he’s killing in a vineyard.
Co-star Tony Lo Bianco and his wife, Elizabeth, made pasta on the set, Heaton said. “This was so great, with all the family and food and wine,” she said.
