LaToya Mills scored 23 points to lead all scorers as Stephen F. Austin downed Air Force 67-63 at Clune Arena on Saturday in the championship game of the Air Force Classic.

The Falcons (4-1) trailed 34-28 at halftime and kept the LadyJacks (3-3) from scoring in the final 1:50.

But Air Force could never take the lead.

Letricia Castillo led Air Force with 22 points – the only Falcon in double figures.

Britany Vinson chipped in 17 points for the LadyJacks.

Gonzaga 69, Northern Colorado 48: Gonzaga’s Anne Bailey scored 14 points to lead the Bulldogs to a victory over Northern Colorado in the championship game of the Nugget Classic at the Lawlor Events Center in Reno, Nev.

Heather Barbour scored a game-high 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Bears (4-2). Jabrenta Hubbard chipped in with 10.

Jami Bjorklund scored 12 points and Katy Ridenour added 11 for Gonzaga (2-5), which led 36-20 at halftime.

Colorado Mines 93, Buena Vista 75: Colorado Mines’ Ashley Gronewoller and Angela Pearson each posted double-doubles as the Orediggers trounced Buena Vista at Volk Gym in Golden. Gronewoller finished with 24 points and 10 rebounds, while Pearson scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, both season highs. Kelli Staley and Katie Maguire led Buena Vista with 20 points apiece.

Colorado College 73, Cornell College 60: Paige Whitney scored a game-high 25 points and Liz Kolbe made 5-of-8 3-pointers to power Colorado College past Cornell College in the Mines/Colorado College Classic in Golden. The Tigers (4-2) shot 57.7 percent in the first half (15-of-26) to open a 39-27 lead. Anna Skaggs led Cornell (1-3) with 13 points.

Alaska-Anchorage 70, Colorado Christian 29: Alaska-Anchorage held Colorado Christian to six first-half points and never trailed at the Wells Fargo Sports Complex in Anchorage, Alaska. Monica Chase led Colorado Christian with 13 points, and K.C. Long added 10.
