Pottery sale at Arvada Center
10 A.M.-9 P.M. | ARVADA The Student/Faculty Pottery Sale begins today at the Arvada Center, 6901 Wadsworth Blvd. A variety of pottery ranging from functional tableware to original ceramic sculptures is included. The six-day sale continues 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free. An opening reception is 7 to 9 tonight. Metro Arts Coalition meets
4-6 P.M. | The Metro Arts Coalition meets at the Acoma Center, 1080 Acoma St. MAC has teamed with the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation on a six-month exploration of cultural policy in metro Denver. Discussions on such topics as funding, facilities and regional identity were included. This meeting will encompass all information collected, and suggestions and recommendations will be covered.
