Not-so-bizarre holiday Bazaar.
You feel better when your holiday purchases are coming from ethical production, no?
The Fair Trade Holiday Bazaar, supported by Ethical Trade Action Group and Argusfest, spotlights gift items and ideas from around the world, that have come from fair trade (not free trade) exchanges.
Along with gifts, music, and delectables, there will also be a screening of the film “,” which looks at Jamaica’s woven tapestry of sequences focusing on the stories of individual Jamaicans whose strategies for survival and parameters of day-to-day existence are determined by the U.S. and other foreign economic agendas.
Sure to generate holiday hope, spirit, and communal responsibility.
