An index of Colorado stocks rose for an eighth week to a record close, led by Myogen Inc. and Bill Barrett Corp. The Bloomberg Colorado Index, a price-weighted list
of companies based in the state, gained 1.51, or 0.5 percent, to 326.95.
Fifty-nine stocks fell, 49 rose and two were unchanged last week.
The index has gained 17 percent this year.
Myogen, a Westminster- based drugmaker, soared 12.24, or 64 percent, to 31.51.
