Getting your player ready...

The philosophy at The Blue Moose restaurant in Breckenridge is to do one thing and do it well. That one thing is breakfast, served daily from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Moose doesn’t mess with lunch or dinner (but catering is available), and it doesn’t mess around when it comes to eggs and omelets, where you’ll find four of them whipped into a variety of flavors, including Mexican, West Coast, vegetarian and the house specialty – a spinach, cheese and bacon soufflé known as the Moose Omelet. The Moose understands skiers’ priorities, including organically grown, locally roasted coffee for that powder morning jolt, prices under $7 a plate and breakfast sandwiches available in a box to go. It’s no wonder The Blue Moose is an established local favorite in winter and summer.

Get there — 540 S. Main St., near the corner of Park Avenue, across from Main Street Station, Breckenridge. 970-453-4859.
