Broncos officials are urging fans who
want playoff tickets to order by Internet and telephone when they go on
sale Thursday instead of standing in line at Invesco Field.

About 15,000 seats for Denver’s second-round playoff game, the weekend
of Jan. 14-15, will go on sale at 11 a.m. Thursday.

They’ll be for sale at the stadium, but the Broncos said they’ll be sold
on a first-come, first-serve basis. So many orders can be processed on
the Internet and by phone that those standing in line may never get a
chance to make their purchase.

Tickets will cost between $53 and $110, with some club seats available
for between $240 and $395.

Those who buy tickets via phone or internet will pay a $9 “convenience
fee,” in addition to a $3.30 handling fee.
