A fast-growing Greenwood Village corporate-security company on Thursday bought a Centennial data-security company to better help clients like banks and grocery stores monitor possible employee theft.
Red Hawk Industries bought National Network Services for an undisclosed sum, said Greg Johnson, Red Hawk president and chief operating officer. Red Hawk generates about $150 million in sales a year, Johnson said.
“This helps us provide security networks on existing infrastructure for retail facilities and banks,” he said. “It is things like fraud and other losses that they’re trying to control.”
Red Hawk also installs security systems at jewelry stores, fast-food outlets and other businesses handling large amounts of cash. Its security systems start at $5,000, Johnson said.
The firm has 200 employees in Colorado after buying National Network Services and 700 total in the 30 states in which it operates. It has been named by Inc. magazine as one of the fastest-growing U.S. companies the past two years.
