Lindsay Lohan, trying to beat a pack-a-day cigarette habit, has been prescribed anti-smoking pills, MSNBC.com reported.
Lohan’s mother, Dina, has persuaded her 19-year-old daughter to seek help and said, “The doctor put her on an anti-smoking pill. God willing, it will work within a month.”
Dina has not found a pill to slow her hard-partying daughter, though.
Joaquin Phoenix won a Golden Globe Award for his portrayal of Johnny Cash in the film, “Walk the Line,” but the actor still found a way to lose.
Huh? Phoenix bet Ryan Phillippe (husband of “Walk the Line” co-star Reese Witherspoon) he would not win.
“I lost a $220 bet to Ryan,” Phoenix admitted. “That’s what he was so happy about. … I bet him whatever I had in my pocket.”

Davis won for her role as the president on ABC’s “Commander in Chief”; Laurie for the Fox doctor drama, “House.” Davis and Laurie were the mother and father of the lovable mouse on the two “Stuart Little” films, Liz Smith of the New York Post noted while watching the show with a lovable 7-year-old.
Britney Spears’ first husband (of approximately 45 minutes) Jason Alexander, is hanging out with Shar Jackson, Star magazine reported.
Jackson is the former girlfriend of Kevin Federline, and mother of two of his children. Federline, in case you’ve been under a rock the past two years, is Spears’ latest hubby.
The magazine reports Jackson has been seen at Alexander’s San Fernando Valley, Calif., abode.
Everybody wants aboard the “Brokeback Mountain” bandwagon. Christopher Knight and Barry Williams, who played Peter and Greg Brady on “The Brady Bunch,” will portray gay lovers on “That ’70s Show,” a Fox network rep told the New York Daily News.
Knight, 47, and Williams, 51, move next door to the Forman family, and there’s speculation the two may share a kiss. The episode will air in April.
Michael Jackson is negotiating to become a “consultant” for a Bahrain-
based entertainment company, E! Online reported. Jackson, who recently relocated to the Mideast country, wants to advise AAJ Holdings Ltd. on its latest endeavors, including setting up theme parks and music academies.
