Austin Gill, a wide receiver at Cherry Creek High School in Greenwood Village, has orally committed to play football at Princeton University in the Ivy League.
Gill, 6-feet-1 and 190 pounds, helped the Bruins to a tie with Grandview for runner-up in the Class 5A Centennial League last season. The Bruins, who earned the league’s No. 2 postseason seed, went out in the first round against Columbine.
Gill is the second wide receiver from the Bruins to pledge to play in the Ivy League – earlier, teammate James O’Brien committed to Dartmouth.
