Shares of Frontier Airlines stock fell 8.9 percent Friday after its $10.1 million net loss in the third quarter missed analyst expectations.
The net loss was equal to about 28 cents a share, which included a 3-cent-a-share loss for special items. Analysts surveyed by Thomson Financial had forecast a loss of 19 cents a share.
