Greeley – Chris Daniels scored 23 points to lead Texas A&M-Corpus Christi to a 72-66 victory Saturday over Northern Colorado.

Sean Taibi led UNC (2-21) with 18 points. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (14-7) led by as many as 15 early in the second half before the Bears battled back. Taibi’s 3-pointer with 1:40 left got UNC within three, 67-64.

The Islanders’ Rashad Mintz made one free throw, and UNC’s Kirk Archibeque made a layup at the other end to make it 68-66 with 1:01 left.

The Bears couldn’t score again and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi sealed the victory at the free-throw line.

Colorado Mines 52, Chadron State 42

Golden – Senior guard Travis Test had 12 points and a career-high seven assists to lead the Orediggers (10-9, 5-6 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference) to the win at Volk Gym.

Adisa Tobin led Chadron State (8-11, 3-8) with 15 points.

Nebraska-Kearney 85, Regis 68

The visiting Lopers (14-5, 9-2 RMAC) took control in the second half with a 23-13 run and finished off the win by going 13-of-16 from the free-throw line in the second half.

Dusty Jura led Kearney with 18 points.

Ben Schaefer, Slade Bigelow and Brandon Butler each scored 13 for the Rangers (11-8, 6-5).

Fort Lewis 63, Mesa State 52

Grand Junction – Fort Lewis (12-6, 8-3 RMAC) got 17 points from Tim Bieri to beat Mesa State (13-6, 7-4) at Brownson Arena.

Ryan Johnson added 14 for Fort Lewis. Darnell Jones paced the Mavericks with 15.

Fort Hays State 80, Colorado Christian 66

Lakewood – The Tigers remained unbeaten in the RMAC by shooting 64 percent in the first half. Fort Hays State (18-1, 11-0) made 16-of-25 shots in the first half and led 47-35 at the half. Jeremy Atwater topped the Tigers with 14 points.

Brian Stamer had 21 points for Colorado Christian (7-12, 4-7).

Adams State 63, Western State 58, OT

Gunnison – Wes Jensen scored six of his 21 points in overtime to give the Grizzlies (8-11, 5-6 RMAC) the road win. Western State fell to 7-11, 3-8.
