Glendale, Ariz. – Colorado forward Brian Langtry beat Arizona goaltender Mike Miron to give the Mammoth an 18-17 overtime win Friday night over the previously unbeaten Sting.

The Mammoth (3-3) won despite Arizona forward Craig Conn scoring eight goals and adding three assists. Dan Dawson added a goal and eight assists for the Sting (3-1).

It was the highest-scoring game in Mammoth history.

The Mammoth had a two-goal lead, but allowed the Sting to tie it, then fell behind 17-16 with 1:29 left in regulation after allowing a short-handed goal.

Colorado’s Gavin Prout tied the game with 58 seconds left with his third goal of the game.

Chris Gill had a season-high six points for Colorado, and forward Dan Stroup had five goals.

Mammoth goaltender Chris Levis, who replaced starter Gee Nash after halftime, made 14 saves and earned his second victory of the season.
