Class: Sophomore.

My favorite subject: World geography; the teacher makes it fun for us to do activities and makes us loose before we start learning.

My favorite athlete: Dwyane Wade, because he’s with Shaq and really athletic.

What I listen to: Rap or things with a beat, like the instrumentals.

The best thing on my training table: Tuna casserole.

Time management tip: I don’t really know sometimes how I get things done … I just try to relax and work hard.

Planned career: I want to go to college and try to make the NBA; undecided on major.

My family: Parents Ada and Lance; sister Jacquelyn; brothers Jaziah and Quincy.

I would love to visit: Hawaii.

What I like most about high school sports: You get to do what you love and getting the crowd into it.

What I like least about high school sports: I don’t dislike anything about them.

The Denver Post recognizes a female and male student-athlete of the week. At the end of the school year, 10 finalists will be chosen. Ultimately, The Post and The Denver Athletic Club will select one boy and one girl as student-athletes of the year, and a substantial donation will be made to a local charity in their names.
