CH2M Hill, the Douglas County-based engineering giant, was No. 97 on a list of 100 companies receiving the largest dollar volume of prime contract awards from the Department of Defense for fiscal year 2005. The company won contracts worth $279.4 million from the agency. The spending accounts for 0.1 percent of the total $269 billion in contracts the agency awarded.

Western Union Financial Services Inc. of Greenwood Village and Chilexpress, one of Chile’s largest domestic couriers, announced Monday that they are launching domestic money-transfer services in Chile. Chilexpress operates more than 175 locations throughout the country.

ProLogis, a Denver-based provider of distribution facilities and services, announced Monday that it has signed leases totaling more than 1.5 million square feet in Southern California’s “Inland Empire.” The five leases vary from 180,000 to 439,000 square feet at various properties in San Bernardino and Riverside counties.
