Blues & Brews Festival

The 13th annual Telluride Blues & Brews Festival is Sept. 15-17. The festival will host more than 20 national touring bands, 50 microbreweries, children’s activities and an expected sellout crowd of 8,000 “festivarians” from across the country. Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. March 1 at tellurideblues.com. Phone sales begin at 10 a.m. at 866-515-6166. Tickets are also available at Telluride Music Company, 201 E. Colorado Ave., Telluride. The Early Bird 3-Day Pass is $110, the VIP 3-Day Pass is $295. Reserved camping is available adjacent to the festival grounds for $40 a person. Registration for the Sixth annual Telluride Acoustic Blues Camp, a four-day camp with classes in finger-style blues, slide guitar, blues harmonica and blues vocals, begins March 1. Cost is $325. Snowshoe cancer walk

Tubbs Fourth Annual Snowshoe Event to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation is March 11 at the Frisco Nordic Center, 18454 Colo. 9. Registration for the “Romp to Stomp Out Breast Cancer” Snowshoe Series begins at 7:30 a.m. A silent auction is 8-11 a.m. The main event snowshoe walk (3K or 5K) starts at 9:45 a.m.. The closing ceremony, including a survivor tribute, awards ceremony and prize drawings, is at 11 a.m. Cost is $18 in advance, $20 event day. For information, visit tubbsromptostomp.com.
