Saturday

An ecumenical meeting open to all begins at 7 p.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 2771 Zenobia St., Denver. An after-service healing prayer will be at 8:30 p.m.

A Zen meditation workshop with Jian Gong will be held at 10 a.m. at the Kusa Dojo, 1073 S. Pearl St., Denver.

A discussion, “The Christian ‘Infidel’ and Muslim ‘Infidel”‘ will be led by local speaker Virginia Glist at 9 a.m. at Christ Church United Methodist, 690 Colorado Blvd., Denver.

A panel discussion, “Preparing for Shabbat,” will be at 9 a.m. at the Denver Campus for Jewish Education, 2450 S. Wabash St., Denver.

Gospel singer and music minister Claudette Sweet will lead a program of “Spirituals that Transform the Soul” at 5 p.m., hosted by the Buddhist/Christian Interfaith Community at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church of Denver, 1615 Ogden St., Denver.

Ash Wednesday

Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church, 1980 Dahlia St., is having Ash Wednesday Taize services with communion at 7 p.m.

Wellshire Presbyterian Church, 2999 S. Colorado Blvd., is having Lenten season services at 6:45 p.m.

March 3

Congregation Beth Shalom, 6116 S. Pennsylvania St., is having Sabbath services to honor newcomers at 7:30 p.m.
