Three Fort Carson soldiers were killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq, the Army said Thursday.
The soldiers, whose names were not released, were members of the 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team of the 4th Infantry Division.
Their vehicle struck the bomb Wednesday near Balad, 50 miles north of Baghdad.
The deaths bring to 161 the number of Fort Carson soldiers killed in Iraq since the invasion.
