Floridian the lucky bidder for Steamboat alpine manor
A Florida man outbid 10 other registered bidders for an alpine manor in Steamboat Springs.
James Ridely of Alachua, Fla., paid $1.43 million for the property at an auction held Tuesday by National Auction Group of Gadsden, Ala. The seller was Denver investment banker Kit Phillips, founder of Phillips Capital Inc.
The Phillips family, which owned the property for about a year and a half, recently renovated the four-bedroom, 4 1/2-bathroom home in Steamboat’s Sanctuary subdivision. It overlooks Fish Creek Canyon and the back nine of the Sheraton Steamboat Golf Club.
It features a gourmet kitchen, media room, gaming room, outdoor entertainment area and a sunken hot tub.
5-acre Parker estate offers views, four living areas for $1.5 million
Real estate investor Erik Heimendinger and his wife, Tracy, are selling their completely renovated Parker estate.
The couple is asking $1.5 million for the five-bedroom, five-bath home on 5 acres.
“It’s great because of where it sits, the views, the amount of money and landscaping (the previous owner) put in,” Erik Heimendinger said.
