Famed Colorado architect Burnham Hoyt designed one of the few international-style houses in Denver’s Country Club district.
The architecturally significant home is an example of Hoyt’s Modernist Art Deco style. Its flush windows, glass bricks and lack of decoration are typical of the style.
The current owner, who requested anonymity, restored the home to its original artistic expression with the help of designer Sheila Fein.
Included in the restoration is the waved, diffuse glass in the entry and cove lighting in the hallway and valances above the windows.
Jan Nelson of Kentwood City Properties is listing the house for $3.5 million.
