Great Southwest Mortgage, Arizona’s largest privately held mortgage bank, has expanded into Colorado with 12 branches along the Front Range. Great Southwest will have branches in Denver, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Loveland, Englewood, Highlands Ranch and Centennial.

Sunflower Markets, a Longmont-based grocer, on Thursday said it will open a store at East Mississippi Avenue and South Dayton Street in south Denver in 2007. The company also said future stores will bear the Sunflower Farmers Market name to emphasize the company’s focus on fresh produce.

United Airlines said it is starting daily flights June 8 on ex-plus regional jets from Denver to Cincinnati, twice-daily flights from Denver to Idaho Falls, Idaho, and seasonal weekend flights from Denver to Redmond, Ore.

Adolfson & Peterson Construction of Aurora announced Thursday it is set to begin work on two projects for the Roaring Forks School District. Roaring Forks High School, a 90,000-square-foot high school, is scheduled to be finished in July 2007. The Crystal River Elementary School project, a 60,000-square-foot addition, will be completed this December.

China Wireless Communications Inc. of Denver announced Thursday it has created a new North American division, CW Communications Inc.

Denver Camping World SuperCenter will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Good Sam Club on Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. at 4100 Youngfield St. in Wheat Ridge. The club was started informally in 1966 by Trail-R-News magazine to provide a system of volunteer assistance for RV owners in trouble while on the road.
