In the spirit of the much-missed original television show, you can catch local comedians Harrison Rains and Matt Vogl tonight at , shouting obscenities and satirical commentary at a movie screen showing the best of the worst in sci-fi.

Whether or not it’s your film genre of choice, this should be a hilariously entertaining event for everyone: robot, droid, and savage alike.

Half-off happy hour.

Tucked snuggly between Lincoln, Broadway, and the famous Floyd’s Barber Shop, is a small but substantial new resident.

Metro Kitchen and Bar has been open since December and is still struggling to define their clientele, but you can help them out by enjoying their full-bar half-off happy hour.

It’s a modernly retro kind of place with a music selection that doesn’t match its decor, and a menu you might find in a sports bar or pub, but it’s an…interesting mix of dynamics off of Broadway’s beaten path.

And with half-priced drinks til 7 p.m. daily, who’s complaining?

What: Metro Kitchen and Bar

Where: 12 East 11th Avenue
