Last year’s inaugural Boulder Adventure Film Festival left audiences with heaving chests and dilated pupils as more than a dozen high-wired outdoor adventure films rocketed them on a kaleidoscopic journey. It’s back, and it’s not something to miss. This year, a local jury has selected 20 films to screen for the second annual festival. For two nights (Sunday and Monday) the Boulder Theater will host a cinematic tour of the adventure world. The event coincides with Saturday’s Dirt Days, a multi-sport mini-festival in Boulder’s Central Park adjacent to the Farmer’s Market. A Sunday matinee at the Boulder Theater will feature family and kids’ flicks.
