2052 Stout Street has seen a number of names come and go over the decades, and a new one has come to roost – or to bark – at the Colorado landmark.
Previously Stout Street Pub, the newly-tuned British Bulldog has taken up residency, and promises you can still find fans of soccer, and fans of all things deep-fried.
At the Bulldog, the beer definitely comes first: happy hour 3 – 6 p.m. with 2-for-1 Long Island iced teas, wells, wines, and draft beers.

Though Broadway’s noise and traffic are but a few blocks away, Opal always seems to block out that nonsense, stopping noise in its tracks with the always-on down-tempo beats.
But more appealing than that would be its 2-for-1 sushi and sake (maybe the best bang for your buck in the city) and $1 Corona happy hour.
They’ve got a serious, upscale menu, but the dining room can get rushed and most people seem to prefer the curtained, comfy, quiet draws of their bar.
A nice patio to watch the sun setting with sushi, sake and change left over.
