Getting your player ready...

Given their choice of superheroes, the folks at Marmot are partial to the Invisible Man, the inspiration behind the company’s latest offering to the world of outerwear. In other words, Marmot’s new Super Hero Jacket is designed to disappear. The Super Hero makes use of what Marmot calls “Mosaic Zonal Construction” to optimize performance through a strategic variety of woven or knit fabrics appropriate to different parts of the body. The core of the jacket is water-resistant and breathable Gore Windstopper Scuba soft-shell fabric. The shoulders and arms are reinforced with thicker Gore Windstopper Tasset fabric. The underarm vent gussets are breathable knit, and the removable tuck-away hood is lightweight and windproof. The result is a lightweight shell created as a singular “dressing system” that provides comfort in a variety of conditions without a second thought. Ideal for the fickle spring weather of the Colorado high country, you won’t even notice it’s there.
