The Broncos penchant for swapping first-round picks continued this morning. Denver traded the No. 22 overall pick in the first round of the April 29-30 draft to San Francisco for a second round pick (37) and a third-round pick (68). Denver still holds the No. 15 pick in the first round.
It’s Denver’s fourth trade involving a first-round pick since 2004 and their second such trade this offseason. Denver now has nine overall picks in the draft and four within the first 68 picks.
