South’s Mohamud Ige won all three distance races Saturday at the Kansas Relays in Lawrence.
Ige, a senior and Colorado’s Class 4A cross country champion, won the 800 meters in 1 minute, 55.03 seconds, the mile in 4:14.04 and the 2-mile in 9:08.04.
Littleton’s Nikita Eades won the 100 hurdles in 14.19, a day after she won the 300 hurdles in 43.34.
The Lions girls, including Eades, also won two relays, the 1,600 and 400 shuttle hurdles.
In football, Wheat Ridge hired Reid Kahl as head football coach.
Kahl, the son of retired Fort Morgan coach Rick Kahl, had experience as head coach at Coronado in Colorado Springs.
