Jazz in the Junction

The 18th annual Wells Fargo Art and Jazz Festival runs noon May 12 through the evening of May 14 in the streets, shops and galleries of downtown Grand Junction. Summer arts in Aspen

Aspen Art Museum has free gallery tours and refreshments 5-7 p.m. Thursdays, June 1 through Nov. 1; admission is free on Fridays throughout the year. Manitou wine fest

Daddy of all food fests

Carbondale concerts

The town of Carbondale, in cooperation with Carbondale Council for Arts and Humanities, is hosting the 2006 Summer of Live Music Series. Also providing concert support and co-sponsoring two of the summer performances are radio station KDNK and Steve’s Guitars. The schedule includes: 101st Army Dixieland and Jazz Band, 7 p.m. June 16, Sopris Park; Music and Lobster Fest, 5:30 p.m. June 23 and 11 a.m. June 24, Downtown Plaza; Annual Fourth of July Performance in the Park, 3 p.m., Sopris Park; Sunday Performances in the Park, 6:30 p.m. July 9, 16 and 23, Sopris Park; Carbondale Mountain Fair, 5 p.m. July 28 in Sopris Park, runs through July 30; the fourth annual KDNK Blues and Brews, 3 p.m. Aug. 12 at Downtown Plaza; and Friday Come Downtown Concert, 6:30 p.m. Aug. 25, Downtown Plaza. Fete in Lafayette

The fifth annual Lafayette Wine Festival will be June 17 at 95th Street and Arapahoe Avenue.
