Best deal: The institute. Sherrie, a librarian from Colorado, offers a three-day Institute at no cost to educators. Classes are full of great lesson ideas and wonderful, free materials accessible through the Library of Congress website. The Metro is also a deal. Easy to use, goes anywhere in the metro area, clean and safe. Also, breakfast and lunch in the cafeterias of the Capitol and Library of Congress. The free concerts at the Kennedy Center. We listened to the West Point Glee Club.
